There are no perfect people. There is hope that In Christ we can have perfect love. In my human strength I struggle with fear of trusting others, fear of disappointments, fear of being taken advantage, fear of being embarrassed. Fear can paralyze us from reaching out to others. Fear builds walls to try and protect our raw emotions. Take a step of faith and accept the truth that Jesus is love, Jesus is perfect and when I receive Christ, then I have access to perfect love. Through Jesus I can love without fear of disappointments, being taken advantage of or facing embarrassing moments. I can live and love with a perfect love that Christ goes ahead of me and no matter my circumstances one thing in this life we can guarantee “Perfect love expels all fear”.
