s aGenesis 1:1 says, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. I want to see as much of earth before my departure to heaven.  Traveling is my way of seeing God’s backyard.  Born and raised in the beautiful foothills of South Carolina I am blessed to view the blue ridge mountains from my front porch.

I have traveled the world and find the landscape on the other side of the world to be equally breathtaking as the daily views from my home.  Over the last 30 years, my husband and I have enjoyed professional and personal travel.  Each trip adds to my worldview and the realization that all men and woman are created in the image of God. Though we may look different deep down, we are more alike than not.

A few of my favorite travel experiences would be hiking into the remote villages in the foothills of the Himalayas, strolling across the lush tea gardens of India, and meeting men, women, boys and girls from around the world and accepting with each encounter that every person is adding value to my story of joy and laughter.

A few summers ago, a childhood dream of riding horseback on the coastline of Honduras; as well as, spending the day swimming with dolphins in Mexico were both experiences that we added to our vault of treasured memories. I am grateful that God has opened so many doors for me to see His beautiful creation.

Continuing to travel the world sharing my experience, testimony of strength, and hope is my attempt to live this life to the fullest.  Lord willing our paths will cross, and you too will be added to my story of joy and laughter.
